Can't talk right now........

UCDH a.k.a HOME AWAY FROM HOME

(I know everyone at school is going to hate me for this, but they all know me well enough to know I don't care!!)

Now that the semester is over and we are close to graduation I wanted to share a few things that I've learned over the last year and a half.

- You can have 57 sisters and 3 brothers in ONE family!!

- Book work is over rated.

- There is such thing as too much information,

especially when you read some of the things

your patients mark on their health history!!

- Last but certainly not least.... "We are in the

bussiness of saving lives!!!" (LOL)

I have loved this opportunity to educate myself on something I feel passionate about. I am grateful to Gerrit for being a wonderful single dad this past while. This is a goal that I have wanted to accomplish since the 8th grade, and I am nearing the end.

A big THANK YOU needs to go out to all of those who have helped me in this endeavor, specifically the babysitting. That was by far the most stressful. It was the most comforting feeling knowing I had friends and family watching my sweet children instead of taking them to daycare.

I love what I do and cannot wait to get out there and make the big bucks...... I mean...... Yeah, that's what I mean.

Go Wolf Pack!!!

Damon and his team were invited to

Boarder Warz!! They got to go to Rio Tinto stadium to play in a unique playoff series. We were super excited to see him play on such a huge field, and the way his eyes lit up when we got there was priceless!! Way to go Damon!! We are so proud of your perseverance and team work!!

The Zoo!!

Last week my dad had a company party at the Zoo, so we HAD to go and participate!!! The kids got their faces painted like any zoo animal of their choice. Brinley picked a butterfly, and well....... Damon picked a skeleton with blood coming out of his eye!! I have never seen one at the zoo before, but since when has Damon really been one to conform? I think that may be why I understand him SO much.

The Big 3-0!!

Ok..... so obviously I have been slacking on the posts, but I've been a little busy with school AKA life. Gerrit had his 30th birthday and kinda decided instead of growing older he would just live his life as though he was still 20!! Sure it sounds fun, untill you come home from motocross races all beat up from wrecking, or while you try to jump the wake on a wakeboard you crash so hard your head hurts for days. This is G's style though. So I will be here to bandage the wounds, massage the sore muscles, and give him Ibuprofen when he needs it.

He was the cutest patient I have ever had though, so I couldn't be too hard on him. :)
